After a bitter winter, we look for any sign of Spring.
Any signs of life breaking through Winter’s crust. Any upward tick of the temperature. Anxiously keeping an eye on the skies, knowing Winter has a tendency to tease and deceive. But Spring has a drive Winter can’t match. Slowly the shift to warmth and a coaxing of new life envelopes the land. It’s an awakening. New plants sprout. Migrating animals return. Baby animals arrive too. And yes, there are bugs. Lots of bugs.
But the sun is out and hope comes out too.
