After a bitter winter, we look for any sign of Spring.
Any signs of life breaking through Winter’s crust.
An upward tick of the temperature. Keeping avigilent eye on the skies, knowing Winter has a tendency to tease and deceive. Yet Spring has a drive Winter can’t match. Slowly the shift to warmth and a coaxing of new life envelopes the land. It’s an awakening. New plants sprout. Migrating animals return. Baby animals arrive too. Life anew.
The sun is out and with it, joy comes out too.
