The Vertical Landscapes Collection

This series was the result of NOT paying attention.
I intended to contribute a piece to an Instagram challenge on landscapes. My error, I thought the request was vertical instead of the typical horizontal landscape format. How novel! Vertical landscapes NOT horizontal.
It turns out I misread the dimensions.
This series was the result of that misreading. My Lesson: Accidents lead to discoveries.

I do love drawing foxes. They are beautiful, clever, playful and curious. Perfect.

WTF! (What the Floral!)

I recently discovered a whole new natural world. FLOWER NAMES. Outrageous, descriptive, silly, imaginative and very REAL flower names. Having the best time finding them. Learning about the plants. Drawing them to illuminate their name and stories. So much fun!
(And now, I have made a 2026 calendar with them. Find them in my Etsy Shop.)

Rabbits end up in my drawing a lot. No compelling reason why.
Just drawn to these hopping balls of fur.

Birds as well often show up in my drawing explorations.
I feel they are examining me as much as I am them. As an avid explorer, I envy them their flight.

There isn’t enough time to capture everything
that fascinates me about the natural world.
I’ll spend the time that I have, being in wonder.
